Calling all sopranos fans.

I have been getting the sopranos new series recorded by a friend who has been burning them to disc for me. However something went wrong with his equipment and he doesn't have episodes 9 and 10. 10 is repeated on e4 tonight but i don't want to see it without having seen 9. Any ideas how i could get episode 9?

Slighty of little use but grab a copy of 'Romance & Cigarettes' to while away the time till your episode turns up. An interesting watch.

or you could take a break and still get your fix - rent "the mexican" and be surprised at gandolfini's portrayal of a sensitive gay hitman. a very underrated movie - easy to misjudge with the star-cast - views more like a solid independant. recommended. that should sooth the nerves until you get that missing episode, or the DVD set.

Season 6 released on DVD on 27th of this month(no spoilers please). I always wait for the DVD to escape the bloody commercial breaks every few mins on More4/ E4.
p.s. Romance and Cigarettes is a swell movie. Haven't seen The Mexican but Gandolfini puts in another great performance in the Cohen Brothers 'The man who wasn't there'.

I don't really want to buy the DVD at the moment as i only need to see episode 9. I have the others on DVD and will get 6 but would rather wait a year where the price will have come down or 2nd hand ones will be available on ebay.
