Nice pictures

My wife and kids have just spent the month of December touring north and south Island, good to see those locations we went to. My photography not qiute up to your standard though, mine taken on canon ixus 400, will post some in due course.
What equipment were you using?

Highlight of my trip was a bungy off kawarau bridge Queenstown.

David - nice one! We had an amazing adventure touring round both Islands for three weeks, you can see our Pacific Horizon van on the right of the Kaikoura pic and I'd highly recommend them if anyone is thinking of doing it...

Highlights - loads of them!! But high on the list would be the whale watching off kaikoura, visiting the Lord of the Rings 'Shire' set, the geothermal wonderland in the volcanic heart of the North Island, Milfod Sound - we did the fly/cruse/fly giving an amazing way to see the fiords, oh, and I didn't get to do the kawarau bridge bungy but the Nevis High Wire was a rush (400ft) and better than jumping out of a plane at 15,000ft as I was a pasenger and he was going anyway......pics below.....

I'm using simple kit really, Sony DSC-P10 set at 5 megapix, and Version 4.2 of the panorama factory (www.panoramafactory.com), none of the individual pics were taken with a tripod and manual stitching provided the best results....

The ledge bungy, up the gondola above Queenstown, different type of harness so you take a run of the edge...into the darkness...

The Nevis, please excuse the demented look......

And another view, suspended 400ft above the gorge......what a rush that was!!!

TMP - Bermuda, nice.......shame about the weather......

Here's a nice one from our trip to Malaysia......

Cheers,
Ali

No. And by no, I mean HELL no.

The Nevis......

NO. NO. FUCK NO. And woe betide anyone who seeks to convince me otherwise.

Still, glad you enjoyed it. Nice pics.

Guys - what do you think happens at the end of the factory after we've taken you up Salisbury Cathedral?

THEN you get the mug.

Mike,

Despite the cold, the water looks lovely. Not quite as lovely as Ali's Malaysia though!

Some pics from the Red Sea last January - about time I got in the water again!

Ok, so it not a holiday out here, although some might think otherwise!!
But I thought I'd share the beautful calm morning we got off-shore today, I was out taking pics of boring work stuff and couldn't resist.....

Here's a shot of a couple of the platfrom legs, that's the Tank Water outlet you see bubbling away. We have storage cells below the legs and sea water is used to balance the whole import/export system.

Oh, and here's one of the 'work' pics I was taking for someone on the beach......

....and you all thought this is a glamorous job.......

$23 Billion profit and I'm stuck on this shitty rust bucket!!!

Anyhoo, back to work.....

Cheers,
Ali
