A top crowd of 2,023, meant that the kick off was delayed by 15 minutes to let the crowd in (£6 adults). Stella in the ground club house, £2.00-2.50 depending on who served you, and a range of pies up to £1.20. The pies were filled with molten lava as you would expect, several are still in the burns unit, as they forgot to cool them down with brown sauce first.

What a top day out. More passion and interest than many a premiership game, far cheaper and considerably more insight from the crowd.

Whitley Bay had come from 1 nil down to 2-1 up, but a late equaliser from Blyth ensured a replay on Tuesday.

You do not get this much fun at Stamford Bridge or Old Trafford (or SJP for that matter!).

With reference to the current debate in the UK regarding the Chief of the Army speaking his mind, I'm in two minds myself! (No comments please). I do understand where Paddy Ashdown's coming from on this one constitutionally (a man I greatly admire) but I personally don't agree with him. Wether serving police or military officer etc, it's a standard catch 22 situation wether one sacrifices ones opinion or career. In my mind 'The Crown' is neutral and ones swears ones allegiance to it and nothing else. Who actually interprets 'what is what' is the ultimate responsibility of the Prime Minister voted in by Our Mick and you lot out there, innit*

we went out from brighton and fish were caught by all including a small tope.one word of warning the sea was a bit choppy for us land dwellers and 6 out of 10 of us provided extra "groundbait" over the side of the boat, fortunately i was not one of them.
think i'll go pike fishing now.

I understand that the above is an old Jesuit saying - but I cannot find if it is attributed to any one Jesuit in particular.

Does anybody know who said it originally - or is it lost to obscurity?

Fritz von Reckon's she's lost about a monkey overall, barring the nuisance factor of getting stuff back, and cleaning up too:

I've been going through some wonderful reccollections of old folk recently from London Boroughs such as Southwark, Lewisham, Greenwich, etc, which are all twinned with here. I found them in our archives (didn't know we had any English stuff at all), fantastic stories (not just war stuff) but depression days, mass unemployment, as well as London Irish who'd come over to avoid abject poverty (mainly girls) nursing, service for post masters etc) bloody slavery, makes Upstairs Downstairs look luxurious (I add these are real stories not Hollywood bull) and the racism was unbelievable (not much has changed there then, anti-Irish I mean).

Fritz Von I'd love to add the link, but it seems I may not add links at the moment, they keep getting edited away by Admin (It's his show he can do what he likes as always). Slavery will be gone for 200 years next year in UK (Parry's tears abound), and as a last pointer my beautiful stamp collection as a child (from my RN Grandad & Uncle) was bought off of me as a lad for a snippet of it's real worth (unknown at the time by my parents, the value that is). Never mind he was my Mum's best mates husband, then a DI with a Brummie accent, so good on him, great training for the CID wunnit*

Absolutely true & can be varified Our Andy if yer still feelin picked upon Son?

P.S. My Dad accidently thumped him at a party not long after, good that too I thought*

Whils't reading one of the afore-mentioned books yesterday down at the old Bog Brush Factory (Age- Exchange if anybody's interested) a Geezer comes up to me and asks me to comment on some text on the wall nearby which was part of an exhibition now showing. Without boring all and saturdee more than usual it referred to one particular German Industrialist who'd died in one of Cpl Carpetchewers holiday camps in the early 40's. This bloke was perturbed at the guys demise as being defined as 'Lost his life' at so and so, and reckoned it should quite clearly have read 'Murdered at so and so'. Well I did agree with this youngish Chap (Dutch) and we shook hands (not cos I'm English, but because I agreed with him). Unfortunately a couple of old geezers nearby got wind of this (We'd only spoken German) and one pointed out that another guy was described here as being executed as if that was somehow all right? I pointed out that that implied some kind of 'Guilt' and exhonerated the 'Killers' in some way wether through Mickey Mouse Kangaroo Court or modern rendition. Then another of his chums spoke up, and I raised my voice in that I didn't give a fuck how old and wise they thought they were, they should think before speaking as well dressed and spoken as they certainly were, and they promptly left (my eyes you see). I was amazed I wasn't called onto the carpet (just my luck with only one more week to go) but fortunately (for them) nobody complained (even though the Murdered Chaps in question were well to do (non Jewish) opponents of Tony, sorry Adolf the foreign Jonnie.

Fritz Von My Grandfather's mint Red Cross Stamp Collection financed my Grannie's house (upon his demise) as well as lot's of other goodies to-boot. An ex of mine (now deceased too unfortunately) was left an entire mint DDR Stamp collection by her Dad upon his death, which went for DM800.000 at auction (I know I was there and saw it happen), so Mr P, get back to tuning yer guitar and shut up Juan, cos about money and investment you know nothing at all at all (when working alone with your own earned/gotten dosh)*

P.S. The Sensational Bode Museum opens tomorrow after 6 years renovation (€162 Million) and will prove to be a Great Berlin attraction for it's sheer Beauty alone.

Thta's why Wemberllleeee's takin so long you see; the Aussie firm thought this was more impotent, and Germany doesn't chuck taxpayers PFI dosh about Willi Nilly like in the UK (perhaps it all a lie Master?)

P.S. Spartacus Old Bean! when I used to work with oldies and stuff we had regular lectures from various experts in the field. Some of these experts just happenned to be er, senior detectives here in Berlin who didn't know us from Adam. We're talking DCI and above here with a lifetimes experience, and the last thing they're gonna do is give a bunch of total (short term) strangers professional help in possibly making their job even harder?

Get me drift John, this forum if rife with stealth people and threads and posts purely interested in making money, so why are you any different?

Although being a very lucky Chap at the age of 13 Our Beano to stay in a real seedy Pigalle hotel with other Chaps from our school in Paris (seeing the millions of War graves en-route on the train) with our French Master (Mr Gray) who was in his own way very modern and brilliant (although I detested French at the time) we also saw the Louvre for the first time. Love at first sight, and a place that would take a month to properly walk around. Berlin's newly restored Gem is also fantastic though very very different and I'm looking forward to finding the quiet time (when all has calmed down) to visit it, hopefully with my Mother, we shall see wont we*

Fritz Von I was enjoying some re-reading of some old Krishna Murti texts last night (very easy and simple to follow, so I was fine). Our Ex. Member used to enjoy such stuff, though I'd better not mention his or I'll have the 'Monkey's' turning up at the door accusing me of stealing Partly-Manly's Naafi teabags*

Pathetic really innit John, nothing changes*

Saw an over-stressed young Mother today at the check out in the sm, afetr work (bit OT mesen) being not being too greatly helped by her obviously over-active 5 year old, who was not only causing havoc (I was behind) by chucking stuff about, but also piling into his young Brother/sister in pram (full fisty cuffs to the face) she did nothing, and he screamed at her, in erm Turkish. I knew if I interviened it'd mean problems so asked (rather told) the cashier, an older Yugoslav lady to lay the law down (just with my expression if you know my meaning). She did fortunately (normally German girls women don't put up with that shit, but there were none to hand so to speak) and take charge cos any Turkish hero nearby (Male) always always always sees it as a red flag racism etc, etc. I always point out quickly I am too a foreigner and FUCK YOUR PUBLIC BEHAVIOUR and if you want to play with me like you seem to think your 5 year old son is a Man for hitting his pram bound much younger sister (girl it was) then do it oput of the public eye or in Turkey you fuckin coward*

Goodnight:

Glad that UK still wants Turkey in the EU (Only Country to-date), I want them all to go to the UK to train in Social Skills before they arrive here*

Lucky sod,

My school trips were (if you're parents were flush, like in the money) to Lourdes.

Sister Godhelpme, once overheard me say "I'd after be f**cking unconscious first". I got my arse striped for that so I did.

My mates from another school were going to the Olympics in Munich!

So I never went abroad at all during my whole school life.

We certainly were lucky Our Beano, though I recall as well as having keep well on the ball both at school and at home to ensure their financial help I also saved like a sod from a paper-round and bottling up/cellar work in a pub, as well as being subsidised partly by the local Council as we were the first ever Comprehensive year of what was always previously a secondary modern set up, so it was partly political I suppose in reality*

Fritz Von Much earlier I was in a mainly Jewish Junior school in Ilford/Wanstead which was great at the time, though I now have my doubts about public money being spent on Faith Schools, though when I see the Parry PFI Bullshit and General Piss-Taking out of the British Taxpayer acroos the board, I think they're actually a good start for youngsters (so long as poor kids get a fair chance).

Many of my best pals had to queue for free dinner tickets and it simply wasn't an issue*

Fritz! Me Old Mate!+

Lots of shyte happening here. On a week's approved and paid leave due to stress at work...

Been on the blower to my ex sister in law for two hours, (her call). She is just off to get some fags, before we carry on. Haven't spoken since my (does not speak to me) brother and her separated four years ago. We are covering a lot of ground, and I am goinng there on Friday I have not seen my nephew and niece in those four long years but apparently they adore me. How sad that time should have gone...

I never went on a school trip! Not one!

I have been all over the place these last two weeks... Not good. Fot funny. In fact I was begining to wonder if I would survive.

Christ I want a good month in front, and then I will be alright. Going to Poland in two weeks, which will be lovely, and may be the tonic I must have.

Most kind regards from Fredrik
