A Certain Ratio

Tony,

You may remeber discussions about the ACR re-issues.

I picked up the double 10" vinyl of the B-sides and rarities re-issues yesterday for only £9.99.

See if you can track it down, it is worth it.

Hi Tony,

Where did you find it?

Piccadilly Records in Oldham St Manchester, which incidentally is probably my favourite independent retailer along with Slectadisk on Berwick St London. Their almost functional website is here: http://www.piccadillyrecords.co.uk

I'm on to it.

I don't think I've listened to them since I left Manchester back in '83.

I'm getting the LP12 back later today after a service/set up (following strong, nay forceful, recommendations by Nick Lees and Tom Alves to have it magically breathed upon by Keith at Studio T) and I'd like to treat it to some fresh vinyl.

By the way does anyone recall the Certain Ratio track that was used as a soundtrack to a TV ad, I think it was a building society and may have been unique to Granada?

Cheers

The last time I was in Madchester I picked up the Kalima LP from Vinyl Revival.

This has most of ACR on it, and looks to be interesting. I haven't listed to it as yet, due to the backlog of other new material (Anthony Rother, Dom & Roland, Klangbad complilation, Electroclash, Debasser etc.)

Does anyone have any material from Simon Topping? I has Prospect park single, but found nothing else?
