I've got Deliverance, Damnation and GHost Reveries. All good, although I find them a little clinical in production so lose their rawness that this type of music can thrive on. If you like doom/black metal then I think My Dying Bride are far better.

Turn loose the Swans is their seminal record,which has the originla violin player who had an amzing sound, but more recently you can't really go wrong with The Dreadful Hours...its fabulous if you like gothic/doom/Black metal. Very melancholic vocals which range from black metal screeching to heartwrenching singing.

Its a great record. Not listened to it for a while though. The album after is far ore mellow with no growling vocals just singing.

As i said earlier in thread The Dreadful Hours is also a brilliant record and probably my favouirte of theirs.
