What a brilliant single, eh? Surely one of the best of the decade. No despicable po-mo irony here - just appreciation for great pop. Any more GA fans out there?
Eye candy or ear candy 
As I say, just my humble attempt to honour a great pop song - an artefact it is by no means as easy to "manufacture" as is often assumed. And, OK, maybe I was being deliberately provocative.
I love the way the video pans upward at the end to show nothing but a starry sky, as the music fades out. I've been humming it to mice-elf for most of the day, and feel all the better for it. It is certain that this song will be seen as a classic in thirty years' time, so why fight it?
