Naim / Quad Din plugs - same wiring??

Can someone please confirm either way whether I can use a Din cable from a Quad system with my Naim amp?

i am using a FM3 tuner with my nait3 and they work great together..my setup utilizes the quad din going to the nait's source input..

I have a late-model Quad FM4 (RCA's on back).

I've often wondered about converting it to DIN output - capitalising on the DIN-DIN connection then afforded (and using a Naim grey or lavender interconnect).

Anyone ever tried this? Worthwhile, or guilding the turd?
