A little surprised that not a mention on here yet, but got to see them finally last night in Birmingham.
After following them for some 10 years, they have finally cracked the stadium nut.. what a truly awsome show.
Fantastic sound, (best I have ever heard in the NIA) superb light show & production, plus 3 stunning backing vocalists.. & a sax player.
So good I just booked to go see them in Manchester next week as well.
Last nights show was a virtual sell out, & everyone gave them a standing ovation.. yup, very, very good.. way to good to be called a 'mere' tribute band.

I like them too. I have their DVD Liverpool 2004 2 1/2 hour show. It is excellent IMHO.
Just for a change we are going to see Think Floyd tomorrow Friday 29th.

Craig,
That'll be the day after I see them in Manchester... They certainly seem to be travelling that bit further these days.
Why is it, when I see their drummer going crazy on the kit 'animal' from the muppet show springs to mind?
Oh, and make certain you have a cure for 'slack jaw' syndrome when the ladies walk out at the start of part two....

Saw them at Plymouth a couple of weeks ago,the second half was better than first, probably due to sound engineer, but could have been the ladies.Great gig in the sky was pretty stunning, several rounds of applause from audience.
Enjoyed the gig despite first half sound, wouldnt think its going to be a problem elsewhere though.
Mike.

It was a good weekend for music for me with TAPF on Friday in Croydon followed by Cream on Monday at the RAH.
It was interesting to compare TAPF with Off the Wall another tribute band I'd seen earlier in the year. TAPF were slicker more professional but OTW possibly had that little more soul.
Cream however shocked me. I went expecting old men rock but they were really very good. Once they had warmed up they rocked. Clapton may be God in some peoples' eyes but in such company he is only run of the mill. My only regret is that I didn't see them in their heyday.

Caught what I believe was their last gig of the tour in Norwich last night.
I haven't seen any other PF tribute bands but I'd be surprised if they came anywhere near this one.
I was waiting for the big bang at the end of 'Run Like Hell' but unfortunately it didn't happen, shame.

I saw them in Manchester. They are very good and very professional but I enjoyed Think Floyd more. I thought APF were just going through the motions in the first half. The second half was better. IMHO The APF female vocalist is poor compared to to the Think Floyd lass who was much better.

Their show in Bristol on Friday was OK, but not brilliant.
After having cancelled the original date an hour before it was due to start because of an ill drummer(cant be helped), it was obvious within seconds of this gig starting that something was wrong. A lengthy pause later (about 5 mins during which time the audience sat in darkness) and no appology, and finally the David Gilmour soundalike could be heard.
Now i like loud music but the first half was played at ear splitting volume and was very fatiguing, i love the Floyd but i just couldnt appreciate it because my ears were ringing too much (and no, i am not an old fuddy duddy).
A much better 2nd half performance, toned down slightly, overall though i was dissapointed by the tracklist (subjective i suppose), although some excellent and possibly unusual inclusions in the form of Sheep and Welcome to the Machine.
Was miffed to have not heard their apparently superb rendition of Great Gig , and was hoping for an encoure of Wish you Were Here, but instead got a likeable Run Like Hell. Possibly due to the constraints of the size of the venue their were no inflatables used, but overall the lighting for the show was great. Including the intermission and problems at the begining they were on for less than 1hour 45 mins, and i would have hoped for a bit more.
Cant comment on how good they sounded compared to seeing the real Floyd "in the flesh" as i havent seen them, but it was as i said OK. May have to see a different trib band like Think Floyd next time though.

Another day older, and one step closer to death.

We saw them is Boston a few months back, great show but a little 'souless' first half, DSOTM, a bit too much like listening to the album but second half rocked. brilliant to be able to hear these tracks live and light show was better than I thought it would be. Probably more comfortable in the smaller venues but crowd loved them and I think they really reacted to that and played that much better ini the second half.
