Best Bentley for Naim
Posted by: abbydog on 17 February 2008
Anyone out these familiar with the range? Just wondered what the best deal is going to be to get an in-car Naim system.
I realise we'll soon have a separate forum area for ICE, but it doesn't seem to exist yet.

I would doubt that real Bentley owners are exactly going to spend their idle minutes wasting their considerable collective genius on us in the main!

George, I have deliberately misquoted you to make this point, I hope you don't mind

quote:I would doubt that real BMW owners are exactly going to spend their idle minutes wasting their considerable collective genius on us in the main!
quote:I would doubt that real Aston Martin owners are exactly going to spend their idle minutes wasting their considerable collective genius on us in the main!
and so on........
Yes they might if only they knew, but yes you are right as we are in the minority, we are different because we know Naim and most of the population does not. However, do they know the Bentley name?
I know some of my customers do own and drive the cars I have inserted above.
What's in a Naim the advert used to say...... Well, what's in a car? Four wheels and a good sound system? We know it's a whole lot more than that - it's about owning/using/enjoying quality. Just like being a Naim owner. Should we speak against giving them the chance to enjoy one in their office? - No.
Well, I'd love one in my Volvo

Seriously, this tie up should allow many people who thus far only have really had time to consider the likes of B&O because they are busy people and often go by personal recommendation. Maybe for the first time they will have their eyes and ears opened to the musical potential of a Naim system. This can only be good for them, for Naim and for us as happy end users already I hope. - spread the word!
Kind Regards,
Peter

Well the cheapest is the £117.5k Continental Flying Spur, so on a vfm basis this is the cheapest to get your Naim system in. If you really want to push the boat out you can get the Arnage from £166k or the top of the range Brooklands Coupe at £230k...the choice is yours!

Cymbiosis,I believe that some current Volvo models have an option of a 'Premium Sound with Dynaudio' which involves 12 loudspeakers by Dynaudio powered by 5x130w digital class D amplifier. Have you heard this sound system, if you have I would be interested in your opinion of this mobile surround sound.

Tell me there isn't anything special with Naim and Volvo! I can spot some notorious Volvo owners here...
Did they really choose the right brand with Bentley ?
I would definitely choose the Shooting Break W12.
Maurice ...proud owner of a P1800ES...a shooting break!
