My Old Tuner Just Went KABOOM

Well more fizzzzzz pop. Any ideas for a budget 2nd hand buy? 2nd hand 02's and the like don’t seem to exist. Its not a major source for me but do miss it. Not even sure how long FM’s going to be around anyway.

You may have just as much trouble locating one of these as you have finding a Naim tuner but a Quad FM4 is a decent tuner. As to how long FM broadcasting will continue, try here; http://www.bbc.co.uk/digitalradio/

Why not a Revox ?

Many B260's are available on the Net and they usually have quite a good resale value. Sound quality is IMO excellent (unusual for Revox) and if you care about useful gimmicks like preset stations and remote control, they are an excellent choice.

Don't go for older models like the B760 as spare parts are no longer available - I was over-happy with it until its power supply went KABOOM too Frown
