Anyone buy the NEU! vinyl box set?

Hugely recommended, a thing of great beauty. As well as the three "proper" albums, you get a 12" of three 1972 rehearsals and the long-lost NEU! 86 album. Plus a NEU! stencil, a download code and a free T-shirt.

What really makes it worthwhile though is the music, which is quite simply magnificent: Fur Immer, Hero, Hallogallo, Isi, Negativland, Seeland, Elanoizan, etc. All sounding better than ever.

What a wonderful group they were. RIP Dinger, viva Rother.

Gary, I have to say it's a "very nice to have" as opposed to a "must have". Good, in places very very good, but slightly spoilt by some cheesy 1980s synths.

In contrast, the first three albums still sound timeless. But if you're a Neu! fan you'll want it.

The '72 rehearsals are interesting but I can't imagine I'll be listening to them very often.
