He has announced US dates for March - smaller venues than the Dan with a VIP option (accesss to soundcheck etc).

It would be great if he came to the UK but nothing announced as yet so maybe not this time Frown. I'm almost contemplating a NY mini hol with Fagen at the Beacon theatre as a highlight - Mmmm......

I would encourage you to watch the TAN DVD, as a chance to re-appraise the album. The Standouts for me are 'TAN, Jack of Speed & Cousin Dupree'. What fascinates me is that on stage no one is facing each other, everyone knowing their job. The music just flows effortlessly, with an air of simplicity by the crack musicians. A true definition of Art. It reminds of the restaurant scene painted by Renoir? The Band interviews by Walter & Donald lighten the mood, so I went back to TAN and now enjoy it as much as any SD album. Some times it pays not to be too hasty!

My MTC + DVD shipped from the US today (Amazon/dvdlegacyuk), can't wait for the thud on floor next week.

Morph the Cat on Vinyl

btw, the concert was fun!
I've never seen this many aging baby boomers in one place. Razz

He played few new tunes from the Morph,I did like the title tune but minute he started playing old favourites they somewhat shadowed the new material.

In addition,
I need to listen to the studio recorded version, but few new tunes ( bright nightgown? ) or few others were a bit repetitive and not enough interesting thing going on to keep my interest.

In spite the horrendous PA set up, the band was tight and cohesive.

Just three?
I've three Nightfly on all three formats, too.

I've 6 versions of Roxy Music's Avalon. ( that's beyond 11 on a nerd scale, for sure. Roll Eyes )
