Can you please explain what that means.

Nigel (Loewe and VW owner)

It involves reducing distortion, adjusting greyscales (a.o. to remove colour casts), setting the whites and blacks to the right levels, etc.

I have to admit that it took some time to get used to (display doesn't seem to blow you away anymore at first), but after a while you will never want to go back. Your picture becomes far more three dimensional, far more detailed and far easier to look at for longer periods of time (i.e. a movie).

Mark's link points to the ISF, the organisation that initiated it all. It can be slightly hard to find a company who will do the calibration for you, real home theatre forums might be of help in finding one. The company I found congratulated me on having a Loewe. They said they consistently get the best results from calibrated Loewes.

Cheers,

Edo
