bbc- haunting world cup music

hi guys,
does anyone know the music the bbc are playing during the montage sequence ( the bit when they show images of games accompanied by words like - WE WILL RETURN and NEXT TIME.
i dont mean the opening tune , its definately during the break at half time (that sort of thing)
when i first heard it i thought it could be from gladiator the movie but i now think its something else.
although its very similar (classical sound)
some friends have said it could be:
ENYA or CARL DAVIS conducting the bbc orchestra of HANDELS see the conquering hero comes.
either way , has anyone any info like who it is ?? and where can i buy it ?? its a very moving and haunting track.
ive gone on the bbc website to track it down BUT every time i try to listen to clips my broadband connection gets cut off!
any help would be greatly appreciated guys.

thanks for that link BUT its not the music im on about , im not after the main theme tune but the score thats played during the montage at half time etc

and ive since found out that its NOT carl davis tune. AS I SAID ITS VERY FAMILIAR TO GLADIATORS FILM SCORE - it could be ENYA not sure.

I can't find the musical link on the BBC site or else I'd have a listen and see if I could help you out. There's one for the theme but not any incidental music (that I can see).

If it's similar to Gladiators soundtrack, it may well be Dead Can Dance, who were I believe responsible for Gladiators score.

hi steve,
youre a gem mate, thanks a lot. i went on the web page you posted for bbc music and there were a number of emails archived asking about this music and for all of you that are interested its from the music score from the film crash, the particular track i like is track 8 - flames.
ive had a listen to parts of the album and i like most of it. i will even rent the movie out as ive heard a lot about it!
