Phono to Din Black Snaic

Posted by: Peter Stockwell on 16 February 2002

I went to my Naim dealer looking for a reasonably priced cable 'upgrade'. I have a Micromega Stage 6 connected to a Nait 5 via phono to din Nordost Solar Wind cable. In the course of the conversation, which included the discusssion of the upgrade to CDX, he suggested the best interconnect from a Naim CD player to other amplification was a Snaic converted to phonos at the amp end.

has anybody tried an arrangement like this.

I don't know about the CD interconnect as I'm using Chord Cobra.
But upgrading the from the grey SNAIC to the black one for my Pre/Power made good improvement.

Incedentally, does anyone knows the structure of SNAIC? What makes it so good. I believe Naim does not use exotic material but rather sound cable structure.............
