" Topic Closed"

Posted by: rackkit on 08 April 2010

I posted a couple of threads about using an AV2 as a DAC but both topics have been closed with no mention as to why.

As far as i am aware, no forum rules broken so wouldn't mind some explanation as to why the topic was deemed off limits.

Rack - I think they automatically close after 45 days or something, if there has been no further activity....

Annoying, isn't it....!

Don't worry you havent broken any rules. The Management close topics when they deem them to have run their course. Not sure why really, often, refreshing an old thread is better than starting a new one IMO.

Nothing sinister - The forum software automatically closes topics after a period of posting inactivity.

Just send me a "report post" if you wish me to open one up again.

Thanks Adam. Your post explained things better than I did here.

Forgot to add that personal preference is to open a new thread and put a link to the old thread in the first post. This gives readers the option of going back to the old topic without having to wade through it if they don't wish.
