Anti Skate..erboy

The anti-skate on my Rega R200 (silver s-shaped) tonearm has failed. The dial that sets the tension now spins almost freely.
It has not been man-handled or anything, I think it has just worn out and failed.
I have three options.
1) Live without antiskate as I do not have such bad mistraking anyway.
2) Whip the arm of the TT and try and fix it (how would it be calibrated?)
3) Buy an RB250 and do the OR upgrades when ever I fancy spending more money.
