All been done before surely with Alice Cooper's guilotine in 1972. NME wrote an obituary following a show, and it was believed for a while.

THe late, not very lamented (and very small penised, as anyone who has seen any film of him will attest) GG Allin always planned to commit suicide on stage, hopefully taking a few members of the audience with him. He was never able to carry his plan out as he rather prosaically died of a drug overdose. He was probably demented enough to have done it, though.
