Are you sure? I'd hate to think you were misquoting the President. I think it should be:

It would be very unusual for 'W' to get his words wrong!! And for TB, knowing this, to misinterpret what he was saying!!!

Uhm, Paul_G, that seems a bit harsh. Consider the regular contributors that speak and write several languages. Do you expect them to have perfect King's English spelling? Is it REALLY necessary to get a point across in this type of forum? Or nearly anywhere else for that matter?
What about standards of spelling? Color vs. Colour? Etc.

Agree to a point. I'd like to suggest that the ability to communicate across geographic and social boundaries is more important the proper spelling of words. Sharing ideas has to be more important than a strict protocol of syntax, don't you think?

The whole “spellchecker” thing is a trite reference to some other recent posts. A joke. Nothing more.
Clearly, we can compose in our favorite (favourite – is that how it is spelled in the UK?) program and then cut and paste. Or not.
