The + and - of things part II

Recently i posted a topic on how i found by chance that one side of my naca5 speaker cable coming from the + (posotive) at the amp end was terminated with a black sheath indicating that this was the -(negative) connection at the speaker end which meant that i had my speakers out of phase! However i only just realised that the speaker cables were correct at the time i bought them because i started off with a 72/140 and then upgraded to 135`s but the speaker connections at the back of the 140 have both -(negatives) next to each other whereas the 135`s are exactly the same as each other if you placed them side by side which is how i made the mistake in the first place!
