Hi Everybody,

As some of you might already know I bought a s/h CD2 from my dealer. Initially I was a bit disappointed as I found the sound a bit harsh.

Now, after having been up an running since last wednesday, the system has transformed into something fantastic. For the first time I can sit back and listen to a CD, hearing just the music, not the system. Previously I have only been able to do this using my LP12.

I wonder what it will sound like when I have replaced the jumper links on the KanII:s with two sets of naim plugs on the A5 and bought a decent rack.

i think one of the reasons why cdsii is so successful is that nothing is exaggerated for "dramatic effect".

yours should take a lot shorter to settle down. mine is 2 months old now, and, like you, i almost forget that its there.

the fact that my lp12 sounds rather different means i have the luxury of experiencing 2 different music sources. my cdsii doesnt sound anythinhg like my aro/xx2 lp12.
