So, post a picture of your bicycle.
I'll start:
Next upgrade, Brooks Swallow.

What model and year is it, Christian?

Dear Christian,
No mudguards. You must get soaked from time to time. [Smiley]!

Dear Jim.
Thanks for you comment.
It's a 2005 model. Sola steel. I wanted steel over titanium because I guess I'm a fan of steel. Not because ti. is more expensive.
Fredrik:
Mudguards are for commuterbikes.

Real bikes are made of steel. Girlie bikes are made of Aluminium and Ti
I own a Brodie Sovereign but no pic. Maybe I'll shoot one this weekend and put it up on this thread.
Is your Sola single speed? You are a purist.
Cheers
Jim

Chaps
This is my bike and I love it. The quality is in built and it will last longer than what I will.

One of the last examples of good British Engineering.

I still haven't attempted to work out how to post piccy's on here. Sorry, just too lazy I guess.
Anyway, my escape route to solitude is a Santa Cruz Blur frame,(approx 04 model)built up with bits & bobs from my previous bike, mainly xt level gear, egg-beater pedals, & a new koobi saddle (v.nice). Oh, sorry to the purists, but for winter off-roading I do have front & rear crud guards, 'cos the crud around my way is horrible!
matt.

Nice rides, and.
Only drawback is that Principia is no more.

OK, so I nicked the image...
Mine is a 2002 totally stock Specialized Hardrock, but with different tyres, replacement pedals, and a huge air horn. Certainly works for me - but then it's the first bike I've ever bought so...

Very very nice... have been thinking of a sola steely for quite some time, but ended up getting a Verve Ti (less upkeeping). Need to find a piccy of mine...

Mine is a little more retro, but at 6ft 2in its a bugger to straddle the saddle

My new toy - I'll do a full post when i get a decent picture and the last few things sorted out.
Custom Steel from http://www.solitudecycles.com/ Alex provides an amazing service and the whole custom process is so satisfying.

I bought it when I built a lightweight bike and for a while it was definitely a compromise. But now I have put a lot of miles into it I don't actually want to change it. When I do it will be a Brooks.

Whoa.
That was nice. Congrats.

ooops try again. My Colnago CT-2 for the dry days, Kinesis Racelight T for the crappy days and Santa Cruz Blur XC, shortly before being covered in mud and generally abused through the winter months.
