Only if you can afford it.
Actually it does seem to have quite a few unreleased tracks, which poses the usual dilemma to persons like me who own all the original, superb-sounding vinyl.

Superb set - you can't go wrong with this. It has their best album tracks as well as the singles: A and B-sides. It is all re-mastered with band's approval. There are 20 previously unreleased tracks including a track from their first recording session from 67, live concert and TV performances; studio outtakes from The Pentangle (1968) and Reflection (1971). There's also BBC radio session tracks newly in stereo and previously unheard film soundtracks. Oh and a 56 page book.
No, I'd give it a miss if I were you
BTW I've got one on order - source first, as they say.

Buyers take note. Buy knowing that it seems the booklet will, if it has not already done so, part company with the case:

Review from Amazon...
quote:This is an absolutely essential set for Pentangle fans. Lovely sound & packaging except for one small problem. The excellent, but hefty booklet is too heavy to stay attached. If you order this set you will very likely find the booklet already separated from the hardcover book style case. If it isn't, it will be before you finish reading it. Sanctuary are aware of the problem, but it seems doubtful that anything can be done to fix it at this stage. Don't let that put you off buying this superb release though. The booklet is much easier to read once it's detached from the case anyway, & the music is superb. The whole of disc 4 is previously unreleased, plus there are several previously unreleased, upgraded or rare tracks on the first two discs. Disc 3 is a resequenced, reedited version of the Live at the Royal Festival Hall performance from 1968, previously released as 'Sweet Child'. It has all the bonus tracks from the 2001 remaster, but edits out the extraneous applause, banter & retuning.

If you're a Pentangle fan then its a definate must have - I was about to say especially at the price, however I have just noticed that having pre-ordered it for £17.99 from HMV online, it now seems to be £26.99 everywhere, which makes me one very happy little Zipper!!
Oh, and the booklet fell out within the first twenty seconds of being in my possession...

Thanks Zip, even at £26.99 that cheaper than elsewhere.

Let us know what a folk/rock song called 'The Furniture Store' sounds like!
