Firstly, I'm pleased to see that certain folk have finally got the forum attention and fame that they've obviously craved for these long months, where I'd guess that in the real world punches would have flown long afore now, (more than likely, er, arrests too) to win the point (be blamed on beer no doubt too), as the frustration of not being able to communicate properly would have over-ridden their 'unnatural' holding back, cos they knew the 'oppsition' was physically weaker!

I seem to recall the reason given as to why the recent beatings by squaddies of young kids in their own country of Iraq, was so outrageous and different to the average daily smackings at say a little riot, are the following. Firstly as said afore (Yawn) the bright spark boasted about it, and showed the self-incriminating evidence (lucky for us) to the world, as did the photos being developed in UK depicting prison beatings, etc. The second and most important aspect was, that they were punsihment beatings, through unprofessional frustration, and every little argument to the contrary don't justify their venting of pure anger & power (not alone you notice).

All the first guy had to do was look at it (5 minutes at most) (seal the meter with lead seals, and connect the main cable (15 minutes total), cost me a cool €350,00 , plus a beer, and a larf. The early cable work etc, (me helping?) cost about €100,00 plus materials (trade-prices) + a case of Beck's,

Had 20 minutes (at most) with a fuckin slimey² Barrister last year, that cost me € 250,00, how I larfed when I gave his secretary the address to send the jack & jill too, ie, his own Bossess.

In recent years I've been attacked twice in my local park whils't jogging, as some wanker hasn't had their bloody dog under control, (both times alsations, thank fuck). I managed to see the first one coming (and his owner knew it, straight at me growling full on), though fortunately for alstations they are intelligent as well as cowardly, I kicked it as hard as fast as I could in the snout which hurt it badly, I then went for the owner, who decided to run, as did the dog, if I'd had a knife I would have killed it, the second one (two years later bit me in the leg, in high summer) costing me time with poxy injections etc. I'm not an agressive person, and generally like dogs, finding German Shepherds very switched on and attractive, I got that guy later, and made him pay me some dosh (privately, to cover my expenses and time) warning him that if I saw him again, he'd better cross the street for his own sake (as well as local kids), Being a born Londoner (not Essex), I learnt some of this stuff early, that if you need a copper, forget it, and do it yourself (without ones Father knowing), and that was in the days when Cop-Shops were actually manned, and open for more than an hour a day, and didn't have call centres via India dealing with emergency calls in non-understandable bloody dialects).
