Dear Fritz,
What a changling you are. When you get a job, you have appeared to turn from humourous, but hard to follow, character into a personality with a very bitter streak. I am damned if I know what you have against people who make a living, and hard earned at that, playing music. No one is going to say the members of the bass section of even the finest orchestra are of an equal artistic calibre to those who wrote the music they play, but I don't see that that makes them less of men and women on a human level. But I do think obscureness and downright rudeness is too bad. I think you would do well not to speculate who my friends are, either, as they include musicians from every branch of the profession.
I must say that you posting was pointed out to me, so I guess the best thing is to take you at face value - not much then on the basis of the tone of your postings - and carrying on avoiding your pathetic ranting.
I hope you are enjoying working for a living. Character building it is said, so we live in hope of improvement in the furure. Regards from Fredrik

Here we go again!

Guys!
You know the respect i do or try to bring you................i do consider the both of you good fellows, but now you look more like a couple of housewife disputing at the cheese counter for the place in the cue.

Fredrik!
Let go!
You are going nowhere!
hehehehehehehehehe
Berlin decided you're unpleasant and he wrote it in the marble.

Dear Gianluigi!
The trouble is that I am not unpleasant until cornered! I WILL defend myself! And I will continue to do so for as long as people cast aspersions that are untrue!
The truth is a funny thing, as whilst occasionally painful to face off in the immediate, it will never come back to haunt you, after a time. Untruths have a habit of biting you in the back when you least expect it.
I am all for trying to maintain truths.
Of course if our friend wants me to stop defending myself, he can stop sniping at Norwegians, bass-players and people discussing great music or the gramophone. But then this is a gramophone and music Forum, first and foremost.
All the best from Fredrik

Dear Fredrik!

I do get what you mean, but you know Fritz..................
Sometimes he is like an old nagger!
Are you Berlin?
What the hell have you against bass player and classical music?

Dear EW,
Oh, I don't know. I tend to speak my mind when push come to shove, but no, tetchy is a bit too strong a description I would think, on consideration. Please! Less of the B word as well in trying to describing me, my dear old man. People may think you know something they don't! I thank you!
I also think it would be pleasant if you managed to moderate you language in general, elsewhere. It sounds so low, doesn't it? The forum needs more decorum than you appear to be prepared to bring to it - in my opinion of course. Others may prefer every second word starting with an F, but I doubt it in all honesty.
Steady on the bends, old man, from Fredrik

Dear Ew,
You do repeat yourself, even if you have never yet developed an arguement on the Forum at least beyond a statement of the basic tenet! I would love to see how you arrive at your views on so many things - these being somewhat unusual - but no, you just restate, restate, restate...
It gets boring reading it after a while old man, but I will defend myself against foolish comments, such as yours from time to time. I find foul language 'may' be insulting to the recipient, but invariably makes the producer of it look increasing fat-headed.
You will no doubt realise that in this case this post is merely an observation rather than an example of self defence. It is something you would do well to ponder though, I would have thought. I am sure you would not like to think your postings make you look increasingly fat-headed after all, would you?
Regards from Fredrik

Looking back over my recent posts - most of which are on the music forum, usually recommending performers or recordings - I'm not sure what you mean...

Dear EW,
Think about my advice, and then consider the old saying about leading horses to water.
Repition, ad nauseam, suggests to me a profound lack of the ability to develope a line of arguement, which tends to lead to the conclusion that your views are no more than acts of faith blindly held, and not capable of modification in the light of evidence or someone else's logical arguement. I would have thought that this a self-evidently simplistic and stupid position to maintain. But clearly you seem to enjoy it! Why? Fred

Calm it down you two.
If you want to do something usefull then go onto my thread and donate something to the MS society in aid of a fellow forum member.
When you have a family member seriously ill, then petty little squables fall into insignificance.
Call it a day and shake hands you two.

What a narrow minded point of view.

"What a narrow minded point of view."
It is actually quite broad minded if you think about it for more than a minute.

Dear Mr Lawson,
I guess it is the way you read it!
As with much that Fritz writes, it really is quite hard to work out precisely what he meant!
