FAO Hawk - D70

Having made the decision to make a substantial upgrade to my system with the purchase of the aforementioned optical recording device, my trials have been concluded and my findings are undernoted.
System clarity is fine (although I have been led to believe that there is clearer accepting the alternative K-System) and the end result is certainly more than acceptable. Imaging is first rate - I have tested for the "back-plane" focus issue and I am pleased to report that my example is totally acceptable.
Focus is tight, detail is astonishingly good and tonal balance is neutral.
Upgrade potential is truly available - I opted for a HD option (2.2Gb MD) and took advantage of the recent firmware upgrade.
What next ? I want to purchase the new "60" option to allow finer detail to be resolved and also an SB800 to make everything a little brighter in the darker hours. I wil wait until I visit the US in a couple of months to take advantage of the favourable exchange rates.
This is one product that is not affected by difering mains voltages !!
