Further to my Arc dilemna yesterday aided by input here and from JW at Mana - I have partially cured by boomy Arc problem - by removing the rugs from underneath them - DOH!
They sound a lot better, however because of the uneven floor they 'rock' - at present I have a small piece of card under one of the rear 'feet' - this stops the rocking - I think maybe a oundbase is in order (when funds allow) this will stop the rocking in a more acceptable manner and I understand will improve the sound further, plus black SNAICS for the Hi caps.
I also moved the speakers far enough away from the TV so not to affect the picture - can't afford or even want a projector!
