Copy-Protected CDs with CDS2

I've experienced some problems with a new copy-protected CD (Rosanne Cash) -- my CDS2 skips about 10 seconds into each track, then carries on playing. This hasn't happened on any other CD, and this particular CD plays OK on another (non-Naim) player.

Has anyone else experienced anything similar? Doesn't bode well as more and more CDs are copy-protected!!

A problem I'd not come across until last week with the new Placebo on Canadian import. It plays fine on the Arcam but skips 8sec into each track on the CDS2 and my work Pc Real player wont recognise it as a music CD.

Play.com have offered to refund me if I return it, but is the UK version protected too?

(Rant)Take it back and demand a CD replacement (these things are not red book and therefore not CD's). You were sold something that is not fit for the purpose for which it was sold.
