advice - two set of speakers

QED make them. I think they do two, one to wire speakers in parallel, the other to wire them in series.

no they are ok. i bought one recently from audiocounsel in cheadle bob - just round the corner from you....
i use it with a pair of ibls and a pair of epos 14's.
i dont use both pairs of speakers at the same time as the impedance drops (i want it to power a av system with projector in one room and audio system in another)

if you get a cheap/second hand intergreated amp and take a lead from the 92 tape output into a line level imput on 2nd amp and wire the second less used speakers into that you will not cmpramise the sound in your main rooom and you can seperatly adjust volume on other speakers.
obviously this only makes sense with multi room setup
if funds stretch maybe get an old nait
the second amp could possibly be put in the other room with a long [quality] interconect

I have a bedroom sharing a wall with my living room and wanted bedroom speakers. My dealer thought an A/B switch would be bad (drgrade the sound) so he just wired two legths of Naca5 together for each of the left and right speakers. When it is late at night and i can't sleep I put on a CD and unhook each of the living room speakers when I want silence for my neighbors in the apartment complex and I get music in the bedroom.
