CDS owners - clean yer tray!

Household detritus inevitably accumulates in the disc tray.

If you haven't cleaned yours in a while; play something well known, clean the tray and play it again.

I find the best way is to use blu-tack. Either drag an edge of it across the tray or dab off the muck. Don't forget to do the 'platter' and puck as well.

Now listen again.

Don't do it too often and don't exert hardly any pressure on the leaf springs.
