Hi Simon,

I am really enjoying Phantom Limb... since they are one of your flagship artists, is there any chance of a 192khz download hires re-release? I am sure that would sell a few DACs!

glad you like them.
upscaling from native recording sample rates is a big no no. it's faking it and would sound worse than the 24bit 48khz the album was made in. sorry.
you can only ever 'guess' via different methods of interpolation, definition that isn't actually there in a digital recording, but why would you want to do that?!

Thanks, I only just notice the bit on the label site that all recordings are offered in the highest available resolution from the masters. I assumed that the masters may have been higher res.

Fingers crossed for hires masters/downloads for future releases. A hi res Sampler 8 perhaps?

Yes, exactly. Highest available.
You miss the point! Sampler 8 would encompass tracks that would also need upsampling!
