The story is making the rounds, yet Decca has updated its web-site for new releases and others are planned. Lebrecht often offers dire warnings about the imminent demise of classical music. Perhaps he's right about this one, but no other outlet has carried the news, and one would expect this to at least make some business outlets. Hopefully it doesn't come to pass, but if it does I'm certain UMG will at least re-issue old Decca recordings.
