Alan Whicker's Journey of a Lifetime

Posted by: Officer DBL on 26 March 2009

Did anyone else watch Alan Whicker last night? I though it was an interesting program which provided some good examples of how society and technology has changed in the last few decades.

I wonder how many of the current generation know what one of the interviewees was on about when refering to sheaves of foolscap and documents being roneoed.

I am looking forward to the next instalment.

Yes. It was very interesting - All the people being interviewed seemed so polite, he also seems to have a way with him when interviewing him people really open up. He was talking to them all as if they were friends and indeed many have become long term friends. What a life he has lead and what things he has seen. What an eligant man, now advanced in years but just as good to watch as ever. Wow what a job though - surely it has to be one of the best jobs ever! Certainly IMHO. Smile

Kind regards,

It blew me away - best tv show I have seen in a long time. Incredible perspective on divorce as it happened way back when.
