We're nearly there with absorbing the damn motorcar repairs

I'm allowed a small allowance for music purchase. Mainly off Amazon marketplace.

But I have already blown (more than blown) the October allowance on three Rory Gallagher SHM CDs, cos those SHM babies sell like hot cakes!

Just for the record, I'm going for the two really great live albums, Live in Europe and Irish Tour '74, and my favourite studio album (the first RG I heard), Calling card.

The John Martyn box will have to wait, but I reckon that supplies won't be totally exhausted as quickly as the RG.

Right, off to the dentist...

Zep and JWM thank-you. Sorry just got caught up in things for a few days and didn't get to the computer! I am no more than a very old fan....or rather I have been a fan for a long time....(although there may not be very much difference there!) so I'm not suggesting it's the best thing since sliced bread it, although I do think this one is speacial. I am also very conscious that these 'career summaries' can just be another excuse to put out the same stuff again..and again.....and it has happened several times with JM too.... However this one is a treat.

I would add that many of the songs on CD1 and 2 are also unreleased versions of those songs.

this box set is actually very nice to listen to and look at - well presented. Recommended.
