Calling Mike, JohnR, Mick and Seagull

Best date for all seems to be 28th April.

Is this still ok and would 7.30 onwards suit?

I will give location/contact details later.

Cheers

Good to see that, even though PMs have been disabled, the Forum is still a dating agency...

Yes Deane,

Almost as widespread as Friendsreunited...

We have branches in Leicester, Toronto, a European group covering UK/Holland/France/Germany and a recent internationl group covering Hong Kong....

No doubt there is a branch somewhere near you? ....Australia? Phillipines perhaps? isn't that in your neck of the woods...........or perhaps closer to home you could find a few Naim sheep?

OK.........we'll just settle for the sheep..........

Cheers

Hehe - sheep jokes are always welcome, Don.

Actually, had a listen to a Naimed LP12/52/250/Spendor system yesterday. A forum member from Chch.

Barbie? Another sheep joke?

Ahhh - you mean action figures! You can pose them any way you like!

(I took you for more of an Action Man guy though... Who wants Barbies in the military?))

I thought intimate relations with sheep were the preserve of those from the land of their fathers and them from the granite city up north.

Now we find an enclave in Newbury; how quaint. Big Grin

Sounds good to me, Don.

Don.

I've only just noticed this - I don't look here as often as I used to.

I'm afraid I won't be able to come that evening as I will have been indulging in one of my other passions - BEER!!! I'm going to the Farnham Beerex that lunchtime so won't be in a fit state for anything except slumping on the sofa recovering...

Thanks for the invite - you did say that you would arrange something last time we met at Mike's.

Hope you have a good evening and don't let Lacey play Floyd and the Beatles all evening.

I thought you always came to these bake-offs pissed, Simon! Why change now...? Big Grin

So why does Deane F shag shep at the edge of a cliff?

(OK someone's got to lower the tone Big Grin)
Posted on: 11 April 2007 by JonR
I thought I'd already done that... Razz

Anyway, we can't afford to have Deane F shagging said sheep, in case it pushes him off the cliff, as we've got to nip over to his gaffe in Christchurch for the barbie once the bake-off is over! Big Grin

Don

It is looking like I can be there on the 28th, I thought I might have to have been in Spain but the meeting I was to have attended seems to be cancelled.

Do you have a TT. I just got my hands on an unplayed Sarah Brightman LP. We could use your session to to break her virginity so to speak.

Regards

Mick

Sheep jokes.....reminds me of a good ethnic joke I once heard:

Q. What's the best thing about being English?

A. You never have to get out of the bath to answer the telephone!

Deane

You are a colonial, therefore we would prefer it if you buggered off as you are not one of us.

Nothing personal but none of us like you.

Bye

Mick

Q. When a Jumbo Jet lands at Auckland, how do you tell it contains English people?

A. When they switch the engines off, the whining doesn't stop!

You are not funny and frankly most of us dislike you.

Why don't you join some aussie forum where you can crack the same dull jokes.

Only a modest LP12 (non-keeled) with an Ekos/Akiva/Lingo/Linto.

Not the same as a Garrard............especially when it comes to virgin records

Sarah Brightman (Mick) v Pink Floyd (Mike) v Carley Simon (Don) v ???? (JonR)

Frightening

Cheers

Posted on: 12 April 2007 by Don Atkinson

So, was a good time had by all?

As predicted I spent last evening slumped on the settee recovering from a surprisingly, rather good beer festival. Farnham isn't my favourite festival but what with the good weather and the venue having gone no-smoking and some rather excellent beers...
