I had a friend over who loves movies and helped set up my Samsung TV and DVD player and said you really need to get a 5.1 system.....
I put something on for him and said I don't need anything else. Last night I played U2's Rattle and Hum on Bluray, wow, was that incredible.

I'll have to look that one up. I like Gabriel.
On a lark I bought Bluray of Jimi Hendrix full performance at Woodstock. I have to say he was the greatest guitarist EVER. But I found the music too intense as I kept turning down the volume. The screeching high notes and lots of closeups where he's just wringing every ounce over and over became too much for me. I was so glad when he got back to a song I knew. Amazing performance I doubt I'll ever watch again tho thankful I did get to see it. Have to say I like the studio versions. I don't know what it'd be like in the 5.1 version, I've come to the conclusion I"m an old fart because it really set me back in my chair.
