forum barbie!

Posted by: Paul Stephenson on 30 March 2001

We are just looking at some dates end of June or early August (English weather guesses) to hold a barbie in a local pub garden in Salisbury, maybe we will get Antonio to play and include a quick factory tour, small ticket charge to cover food. What do you think? we need some idea of numbers.

Let us have the date asap so we can arrange a 'client visit' for the right week......

Great Idea

Cheers

I smell a trap. I can see it now, all the forum freaks in the same location....Ka-boom-- A bomb or poison food or music from a Levinson system. BEWARE!

Nice one, Paul. Just try and keep an Australasian from a barbie. Perhaps we could lure 'Spuds McMurphy' along as well? cool

I'll be there - please put me down for two tickets.

Now Mr Jong - will this possibly coincide with another conference in the south west?

Rico - all your base are belong to us.

PS - will the barbeque itself be on FRAIMs, to improve flavour?

Rico,

Was wondering if Quadraspires would be used for firewood.

Let us hope there'll be some meat left in the UK. Although, those large-scale BBQs in Cumbria are starting to turn me veggie.

I'll talk to John of Acoustica Stafford, where I also do a bit of work> He'll be up for that kind of thing, except that he thinks that all the Forum members, including me, are all really sad.... wink

200 miles is a bit far to go for a fry-up wi' you southern jessies. How about getting together around a bag of fish 'n chips in Brighouse? Wi' Grimethorpe Brass Band on 't CDS, and a few pints of Tim Taylors Landlord, it'd be a great neet art.

Subject to availability, and WAF, I would be jolly interested. Ta for the offer of a lift, Steve.

Give us a firm date and I'd love to. Again I'll need 2 tickets !

It will be amusing for the wife to meet other people like me. She thinks I'm unique in spending money on hi-fi

Thanks, Andrew cool

to arrange for a business trip that would coincide with the NAIM barbie. What about some dates so we can start planning? Singapore is not exactly going to be a roadtrip, you know?
Posted on: 02 April 2001 by Arye_Gur
The barbie is the chance of your life,
ask Naim to indroduce at the factory tour prices as half as the real ones.
So you'll buy a lot of nap500 and maybe Naim will buy me a ticket to the barbie for the idea...

Thanks, Martin

Maybe we'll meet at last! Need to know when it is of course, to firm up things like holiday time.

Oh - that would probably be two of us...

Frank.
