forum barbie!

We are just looking at some dates end of June or early August (English weather guesses) to hold a barbie in a local pub garden in Salisbury, maybe we will get Antonio to play and include a quick factory tour, small ticket charge to cover food. What do you think? we need some idea of numbers.

Two tickets please !

As said above some recommendations regarding accomodation would be very helpfull. I looked on the internet and found Salisbury close to Stone henge. Is this the correct town ? I always thought that it was situated in northern England.

Tomas, you've got the right place, perhaps you were thinking of that other famous company, LINN who are in the north - well they probably think its another country really. big grin

82ish to date, 100 tickets is max, we will organise a ticket line at naim with a credit card jobbie to cover the food. Should be a bit cheaper than a 52!!.
This way we can determine exactish numbers. The day will include a factory tour, maybe a quick listen to some kit and then off to the barbie, food, booze, Antonio and foofoo.

Antonio has now confirmed, pub too, we are now just trying to arrange the weather.
This will be last day of work for Naim before our summer shutdown so we can combine our end of term bash!
Tickets will be offered to those of you who have posted above this posting first. Make sense?

.. so my two tickets are going up for grabs. I'll accept a 52 & a couple of 135's though in exchange from those not already on the list wink

Paul, any chance I could drop into the factory this coming Friday (4th May) - my other half has an interview in Shaftesbury so I won't be that far away.

Cheers

Paul,

Just wanted to confirm. After asking she-who-must-be-obeyed, we are definitely up for coming down (provided you have tickets of course). She's looking forward to it (as am I)!

Regards,
Frank.

Two tickets for me please, I assume 2 year olds get in for free (that's my son, not me wink ).

Do you have any idea as to when the day will start so that I can make decisions about when to travel (either on the day or day before) as I'd like to get super organised and booked up for hotels etc.

Looking forward to a great day,

Andy.

To Paul et al at Naim

Will you be setting up a formal ticket request and payment process or are you just relying on the requests for tickets that have been placed in this thread

Thanks

We are just looking at some dates end of June or early August

...so Julie & I dutifully booked our holiday at the back end of July, so as not to clash...

Still, there you go; worse things happen at sea, etc. And as I don't think we're the only ones, there should be a few tickets spare for some lucky people.

Our consolation is two-fold: (1) the surf will be vastly better on 20th July in SW France than in Salisbury, and (2) our booze will be vastly cheaper.

Still, no AF, and we shall miss meeting all you lot. frown

Hopefully this won't be the last forum barbie.

Best;

Janet & I are joining Mark & Julie Ellis-Jones in France, so regrettably we can't make it either.

Still, all that surf & wine..... cool

BTW, are Naim not having their usual holiday slot this year? ( one of the reasons that Mark & I thought back end of July was a safe bet )

Hope I'm not too late in writing this 'cause a visit to Naim sounds great. I was intending to ask whether an "Open Day" sort of thing was on the cards......

Unless I'm too late, two tickets would make my year!

Bug*er - haven't been following this thread for a while 'cos it got so long.

Anyway - a ticket for me if it's still possible. Anyone need a lift down from the Maidenhead area (or anywhere reasonably on route) let me know by e-mail.

Regards

If anyone is driving from London, then I don't mind helping in a car-share/petrol. My plan is to get there for the day or night before, and return on the day after.
