What price SBLs?

Someone has just won a Cherry wood pair of SBLs + mana stands for £1030 on E-bay that sounds like a very good deal for the seller?

Two ways to look at it really.
If they were late SBLs in mint condition and as you say in a wood finish as opposed to Black, then it might not be a wrong price for them, and certainly good for the seller,
But also just think what the buyer is getting. One of the great speakers, and ones that were replaced by the SL2 which is about five times the price by now.
Both buyer and seller should be very happy.

How much did the mana stands bring to the party price wise? From the pictures available of that sellers system, all his Naim gear looked to be mint, and well looked after.

My SBLs are easily worth £1000.

SBLs will continue to appreciate, as they remain the best small floor-stander for a Naim system in a small room. (IBLs for an even smallr room). People will pay for the best and Naim ain't making any more of them.

I said a ways back but cannot find the post that the SBL will have its day in the sun again.
Consider.
Drivers are still available for it.
Its compact but full range.
Curved edges are out, straight lines are in.
They sound awesome.
For all the upgrades sidegrades and downgrades I have made or considered my SBLs are never at risk.

I saw that too. Late SBLs in a nice wood veneer go for around £800 usually. With the Mana stands and the NACA5 chucked in these are still a little over priced I think. But, hey someone still got a fantastic pair of speakers for a grand.
