Hope its ok to ask this question on the Naim forum. Just got myself a pair of Linn Isobariks (cannon Conector type) to partner my CD5 Hi 32.5 Hi 250 setup. Question, do they take time to come fully on song similar to the electronics, if so how long should i expect. They are sitting flat on six leg stand which is spiked, ido seem to be getting more bass through my bum than my ears any suggestions (cheap ones please). They have been unused for a couple of years.

Hi David,
the silicone which makes the Isobarik drive units air tight may have perished.

Silicone has a life of approximately ten years depending on the manufacturer.
