HDX streaming to XBOX with UPnP?

I thought this would just work, but alas it seems not. Is anyone successfully streaming from their HDX to an XBOX?

That might be the xbox which does not like a fair amount of file types.

Does the XBox (I assume you mean XBox360) support UPnP, I thought it needed special Microsoft version?

Check via UPnP streaming software such as XBMC first–if you cannot get this to work, the problem likely lies within the XBox configuration itself.

I have tried XBOX with my upnp server(s) and it turned out to only like MP3, ymmv

The XBox will stream LPCM.

I stream form Xbox360 to nDac with no problem. I use Windows Media Centre for music files on my Computer. I also stream from my NAS (via Jamcast software) for Spotify downloads, although this is done through the Virtual Soundcard facility of the Xbox, and not WMC.
