Always thought Andy Kershaw was a Top bloke and hugely influencial in changing the British perception of different genre's of Music particularly World. It just goes to show what can happen when the wheel comes off. Hopefully his mum can sort him out. I wonder if Peelie would have taken him into the fold if he'd still been alive.

Unfortunately doesn't seem able to learn from lessons even when that includes prison.

C'mon boys,


He had a relationship breakup after 17 years and it hit him hard. We don't have all the facts over the reasons for the breakup. He found it hard hit the booze a made an arse of himself. Many blokes do the same all over the country and it doesn't seem as if he was violent just sent a few nasty texts messages that doesn't make him the spawn of Satan now does it just another bloke who cannot handle intense emotional loss.

You don't end up in jail for sending 'a couple of dodgy text messages'. He was stalking and harrasing her and her partner. The law is there to protect people from unwanted harassment. Clearly he could not handle intense personal loss but many people go through messy divorces and don't break the law. My wife was stalked and harrassed by her ex partner (including strategically left bladed instruments, housebreaking and many other scary things) I know how much it invades the victim.

I hope AK gets the help he needs but the victim here is his ex wife.

Divorce, especially with children is flamin' awful. Certainly one of the worst experiences of my life.
