AV2 RC5 control HDMI switch?

Is it possible to use RC5 to change inputs on an HDMI switch when an AV2 input is changed, or vice versa?

Not from the supplied remote–but I'm sure this could be accomplished with a suitable switch and RC5 universal remote....
