These past few days have been really hard going.
Don't know 'bout you lot but I've been breaking my brain trying to comprehend the sheer scale of events unfolding and I've been really struggling to play sounds without feeling guilty recently.
Can I ask what you're listening to at the moment?

Tuesday & Wednesday nights - couldn't play a thing, and I almost can't remember when that happened last. Played Bookends (Simon and Garfunkel) last night, but that made me feel old and depressed - though the music's wonderful, followed by the Susheela Raman CD which did the trick - cool, calm, slightly detached...

I tried Bridge over Troubled Water last night but had to take it off half way through. Same with Ziggy Stardust. The OST to American Beauty really helped a lot though. I stuck it on repeat.
I don't know of your other recommendation but will check it out today.

She's an Indian/Australian/Brit who I first discovered singing with Joi. The music is UK Indian meets light jazz - that's a poor description really, I find these fusions hard to tie down accurately! The only dsisappointing track is a rather emotionless version of the beautifully eerie Tim Buckley (and This Mortal Coil) title "Song To The Siren".
