Desk top client

Hi,
I'm running windows parallels on a mac , for some reason the desk top client can see the HDX, it's something to do with the settings in windows.
Does anyone have any bright ideas?

I take it by can, you mean cannot.
You will be lucky to get it too see it under VM, I suggest booting into bootcamp.

I think you use the default "Shared Networking". Try "Bridged Networking" instead, in this way, your VM behaves like a physical PC.

I've always been under the impression the HDX client ran ok through a virtual pc..?? Something of a dead-end for me in consideration of a HDX if it doesn't....
Booting a perfectly fine Mac into windows via Bootcamp, just to make some settings etc, is making too much of a homage to the HDX for me....All because they couldn't be arsed to write some Mac software...
Regarding virtual software, if it's of any help to you Steve, in general I've always got on better with VMware's Fusion than with Parallels - just seemed to work better all round, even down to small things like USB connections....
Steve.

Ok thanks, have got onto naim, they said they will try and see what's wrong. To be honest I only have ever used the desk top client for editing. The web browser is perfect for the rest.
