Christmas dinner, with trimmings...

Is chicken / turkey + trimmings still the meal of choice on Christmas day ?

Just for a change, we (I Roll Eyes ) am cooking a goose for the assembled hoards on Christmas day. Oh, and being as we live in Sweden, Christmas Eve dinner will be the usual Swedish christmas smörgåsbord of meatballs, chippolata sausages, assorted pickled / cured / rehydrated fish, "Janssons Temptation" (Gratinerade potatos, but with anchovies throughout the mix instead of cheese !), spare ribs, etc ...

Just wondering what others are doing ?

And, whatever it is, have a good one !

In a wholemeal (normally sugar free) eco-household one has to make slight adustments even at Christmas.

So instead of the standard, Dulux-white, icing sugar our Chrimbo cake is covered in what appears to be frozen brown slush. Big Grin
