Now that is sad news.

Yes, she is someone who was genuinely funny, and really worth pausing for thought over, in her passing.

From a more innocent time, her humour was entirely lacking the self-consciousness of the softer end of today's comics, and without a hint of acidic nastinessm that seems to have come along with the so called alternative comedians ...

One of the last of the old time great and kind ones ...
