A religous Experience?

Well, we all have friends, however the best of friends lend you expensive carts.

To wit I have connected to my humble set up an expensive Cartridge right now. Unfortunately it will have to return and this is a great shame.

It is a DV cart xx-1

Tonight I have heard for the first time what the difference is between vinyl and CD.

Don't get me wong, owning an LP12 sort pf gave me the excuse to say that vinyl was better then CD and to all intents and purposes it is, but this cart has put me places I never thought I would get.

Tonight I have listened amongst others to some wonderfull music.

Van Morrison: Hymes to the Silence.
Pink floyd: Final Cut
Herbilaiser: Very Mercenary
Zappa: Burnt weeny sandwich
John Mayel: Blues Alone
eric clapton: Just One Night
Yes: Going for the one.

It just brings back to me, what its all about, the fantastic nature of humanity that created music.

Hairs on back of neck, I think so.

The XX-1 is rather good, shame it has to go back :-(!!

I think that Just one night by E.C is just legendary...no distorted guitars, just blues and boogie...

"One day I ain't gonna have to worry my life anymore...."

I think I am going to find that 'blues' thread that you started ages ago :-)

Cheers
