N-sub to AV2 Cable

Is it worth a high-end cable for this application? I've seen one for £170 (5 metre) on TomTom's website, vs ~£40 to have a Chord one made up. Is it worth it?

I tried a cheapy freeby cable compared to a Chord and to be honest, on the n-Sub, I couldn't hear any difference....

That was primarily on film soundtracks as I don't really use my AV system for music.

So, £170.00 IMHO is not worth it for an n-Sub interconnect.

Blythe,

Thanks but in the absence of any replies till now, I gulped and went for the Naim cable the other day, figuring that cables make a difference in the applications I am familiar with, so why not here?

Oh well it's "only" around £100 wasted - could be worse with this hobby!
