Available from HD tracks. The original CD is very good so what will the 24/192 version bring to the party ?

James,

Have you bought it to try?

I am not a great fan of stuff from HD tracks.

No I haven't Stu. Bought a few albums from HD tracks a while back and enjoyed them but I'm not overly taken with most of the Hi Res music available. One of my best 'hi res' recordings, music and sound quality wise is Mara & David - a 24/44.1 download from Linn records.

The Linn Dan Arborise HDs are good.

That said, the CDs are stonking SQ to start with.

I looked at HD Tracks and would like to give it a go, but get told because I am in the UK I cannot download.  Is anyone in the UK able to download from this site?

Not all HD tracks are restricted.  For those that are, you have to move to the US in order to buy them (or at least move your computer to the US).  ...which isn't quite as difficult as it sounds.

I remember there was a thread a while ago talking about this and how to make it happen, something to do with poxy servers I think.  Doubtless some kind soul will remind us once again??

Its not the downloading its the way you pay for the albums/tracks that causes problems.

I think you just need a paypal account to get round it.

I could be wrong though?

Thanks for both your responses.  I don't even get to the method of payment, it rejects my download request because my IP address is recognised as outside the US, before I even start to input card details
